Following the 7.3 Righter scale magnitude earthquake in Tasikmalaya, respectively earthquake also occurred in several other areas in Indonesia. Some of them are:

1. Wonosari, Yogyakarta
6.8 Richter Scale (SR) magnitude tectonic earthquake rocked parts of Yogyakarta (DIY), Monday evening 7 September 2009, at 23:12:24 pm. Earthquake shocks felt by some peoples in the area of the Bantul regency, and the city of Yogyakarta, and causing some people ran out of the house to avoid the things that are not desired.

According to the Meteorological, Climatology and Geophysics Agency of Indonesia (BMKG), Yogyakarta, the quake was centered at sea with a distance of 253 kilometers southeast of Wonosari, Gunungkidul district, DIY. Epicenter located at 10.33 South Latitude - 110.62 longitude at a depth of 35 kilometers. The earthquake was no tsunami potential because it centered in the middle of the ocean, far from the coast. Further explained that the earthquake caused by Eurasian plate penetrate to the Indoaustralia plate.

2. Nusa Tenggara and Bengkulu
Two earthquakes occur almost simultaneously in two different locations, Tuesday, September 8, with an interval of only two minutes. 5.6 ricther scale magnitude earthquake first occurred at 22:18 pm on 61 km northeast of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. Epicenter located at 7.95 LS - 117.47 BT with a depth of 204 km below the ground. Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG) said that it has no tsunami potential.

The second quake, magnitude 5.0 scale ricther (SR) with epicenter at 51 km southwest of Mukomuko, Bengkulu, with 30 km depth below the ground occurred at 22:20 pm. According to the Meteorological Agency, Climatology and Geophysics (BMKG), the quake was located at latitude 3.0 South-100.93 east longitude, and no potential to cause a tsunami because the epicenter is located far below the sea.

3. Toli-Toli, Central Sulawesi
An earthquake measuring on 6.0 Richter Scale occurred in Tolitoli District, Central Sulawesi, Wednesday morning, 9 September. The earthquake was felt up to the City of Palu, with 400 kilometers (km) distance from Toli-toli. Some people in Palu that mostly asleep, out of them house because of fear.

Vibration of the earthquake was about 30 seconds. As the site was launched by Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) that the earthquake with a depth of 12 km, and located at 27 km North-Western District Tolitoli. A 7.3 righter scale magnitude earthquake shaking part of West Java, Indonesia, today (2/09/2009). The quake occurred at about 15:00 pm was estimated based on 143 km southwest of Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia, with a depth of 32 km. As a result of this earthquake, many buildings and the roof collapsed, including the roof of the Regent's office of Tasikmalaya.

Since the earthquake, many other offices were damaged. Blackouts occurred some time after the earthquake, and cellular telecommunications could also not functioning. This incident made many people in shopping centers, offices and schools were running out of the building. The earthquake was even felt up to Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Semarang and Bali.


This earthquake was followed by approximately 22 times of aftershocks, and is expected to cause a tsunami. So far not known with certainty the number of victims and material losses of the incident . As far as can be known until today, the victims are as follows: 10 people in Tasikmalaya, 1 person in Bandung, and 1 person in Jakarta. Meanwhile in Cianjur, a landslide buried 57 people, so that 8 people died and 2 people in critical condition.

The changes of the lyric are not only lead to abuse the national anthem, even leading to an open insult to the nation of Indonesia. Permadi, a member of Indonesian parliament, gave strong statement against these events and consider this as a deliberate insult by the citizens of Malaysia against Indonesia.

On the website that addressed in USA, there is also a reply from Indonesian citizen whose contents are also insulting Malaysia. Topix is a forum where each member can provide comments. Therefore clear, that anyone could write such insulting comments. But certainly unfortunate that the manager of this forum is not responsible for this case, by still contains the comment on the site.

Recently, Indonesian Police set DPO (the Listing of Searched People) allegedly involved in bomb explotion at JW Marriots hotel and Ritz Carlton. One of them, shown the name of M. Jibriel Abdulrahman, ArRahmah.com site owner. He was allegedly involved in terrorism funds from abroad to Indonesia, especially in the Kuningan bombing. Most likely, these allegations is based on the activities of Addulrahman Jibriel aka M. Rizki in Ar Rahmah Media lead.

Ar Rahmah.com is the site that promoted by Abdulrahman Jibriel with Ar Rahmah Media. This site was long known in the cyber world, with their news about the war in many Islamic countries, especially in the middle east. In these sites, it said, "Jihad" became a major terminology. This site even has a special article about the execution of three Bali bombing defendants, and referred to them as "martyrs", who died for their religion.

After he was set as the DPO by Indonesian police, Abdulrahman M Jibriel 'kidnapped' strangers in the afternoon (25/8/2009).
