Mbah Surip, is a humble artist who has long been survive in the cross street of Jakarta. Indeed, he is just popular for people in Indonesia for this later time. But in fact, his songs already present by him from one place to another for a long time ago. Mbah Surip who was born with the original name Urip Riyanto bin Achmad Soekotjo, in fact are not ordinary people. In his music trip, Mbah Surip has issued several albums, among others, IJO ROYO-ROYO (1997), INDONESIA I (1998), REFORMASI (1998), TAK GENDONG (2003) and BARANG BARU (2004). He even received an award from MURI for action singing.
